Making Your Decision... What Sets Us Apart

The quality and benefits of closet systems vary based on material, manufacturing facility, construction method, design capability, and showroom. As you select a closet system company, here are some questions to ask which may help in the decision-making process.  We believe our answers set us apart from other companies.

Are you able to design and build a system that will fit any size or shape closet?

At Closet Solutions your design options are unlimited.  The custom system we construct for you is built according to your needs and specifications, whatever they may be. We manufacture wall mount systems, floor mount systems, and combinations of the two.

Can you provide drawings that will give me a clear visual of how my closet system will look?

Our designers utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create 3-dimensional drawings that closely depict your finished closet system.

Is there a way to see your products firsthand?

Yes, you can examine our closet system displays, discuss available accessories, and view the quality of our workmanship in our showroom at 308 D-Bob Industrial, Suite 1 (off Huddleston Road) in Peachtree City, Georgia.

Where are your closet systems constructed?

Our closet systems are custom-built for you in a controlled factory environment at our 23,000 square foot plant located in Meriwether County, Georgia. The system arrives at your home ready for installation of the pre-assembled components.  We do not cut or build the system on your lawn.  Be wary of companies that arrive with a stack of generic panels, then cut and fabricate the system on site.  Their installation takes longer, and it may not yield as accurate a closet system.

What thickness of melamine panels do you use?

Our panels are 3/4" thick, and we adhere to Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) quality standards which limit 3/4" thick horizontal panels to a span no greater than 36”.  We do not use 5/8” thick melamine panels due to the increased likelihood of sagging.

How is your system attached to the wall?

Our floor and wall-mount systems clip onto a steel rail which is securely fastened to the wall with screws at each wall stud.  An adjusting bracket on each panel allows the unit to be leveled and plumbed, thus allowing for imperfections in wall construction.  Although we offer and use cleats in some instances, some competitors’ systems rely entirely on cleats for attachment to the wall.  With those systems, if the wall is bowed or out of plumb, the closet system will be, also.
