Your System... Start to Finish

Getting Started

We invite you to contact us by telephone or by visiting our showroom to arrange for our experienced design professional to visit your property, discuss your wants, assess your needs, and take necessary measurements.  Our designer returns to the showroom and, using special computer software, designs a system tailored to fit your needs and wishes.  Two-dimensional floor plan and elevation drawings, as well as three-dimensional drawings, are created.

A proposal is drafted listing the cost of the components, sales tax, and installation charge.  The proposal and designs are sent to you to review and request modification, if needed.  Once you sign the proposal and pay the deposit, factory production of your one-of-a-kind system begins.

Manufacturing

Our closet systems and cabinetry are custom-manufactured in our factory in Meriwether County, Georgia.  Each closet and cabinet system is uniquely crafted and built-to-order according to individual customer needs and design specifications.

The principal component of any system is the panels.  Our panels are purchased from several manufacturers and may be constructed from the following:

  • ¾” thick Industrial Grade Particle Board coated with Thermo-Fused Melamine (available in your choice of a variety of colors).

  • ¾” thick plywood with a maple or cherry veneer.

The drawers in our systems have metal sides, ¾” thick melamine bottoms, and are constructed with Grassâ metal slides.  The doors feature Grassâ snap-on hinges which allow 3-dimensional adjustment and removal without tools.  Grassâ drawers and hinges carry a lifetime guarantee.

The closet system parts are carefully cut and machined as required for each unique closet and cabinet design.  The panels, hardware, drawers, and doors are pre-assembled as much as possible in the plant.  The pre-assembled components of your closet system arrive at your home ready for installation by our skilled professionals.

Installation

The vertical panels are put in place utilizing a steel hanging rail securely fastened to the wall with screws at each wall stud.  Special adjusting brackets are doweled and screwed to each vertical panel allowing the unit to be leveled and plumbed, regardless of the condition/irregularity of the wall to which it is attached.

Vertical and fixed horizontal panels are joined using a cam and pin assembly.  Hardware accessories such as belt slides, tie slides, and garment valet rods are installed.  Closet rods and shelving are placed, and their heights are easily adjustable based on space needs, efficiency, and preference.  Your closet system is now ready for your use and enjoyment!
